- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, on patients in the ER.
- Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure proper radiation protection for patients and staff.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and related accessories.
- Review images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate patient information and proper image interpretation.
- Maintain patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
Experience:
- Must have a valid certification as an X-ray Technician.
- Previous experience working in an ER setting is preferred.
- Proficient in operating X-ray machines and related equipment.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
This position requires a high level of professionalism, technical expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
