position
will be responsible for proactively pursuing new business as well as documenting and selling the value that we add to existing accounts. This position will work closely with Strategic Accounts and the SARA Team. Assistance will be provided to Sales Personnel to help them identify and pursue strategic accounts. Assistance will also be provided when needed on Strategic Selling or the monitoring of existing business in such areas as On Time Delivery and Documented Cost Savings. Will be responsible for reporting the data we gather on Strategic Accounts to our National Sales Group. Selected candidates will receive proper training on Strategic Account Management and Supply Chain Integration.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
o Seasoned management individual with a minimum of 5-7 years sales/operations experience. Industry experience helpful.
o BS Degree preferably in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management with an emphasis in Sales or Marketing or the equivalency of a minimum of five to ten years related experience in the industry and academic studies in a related field.
o Must have valid drivers license.
o

/conceptual selling ability - able to view situations from 10,000 feet as well as ground level.
o Solid time management and organizational skills
o Solid communication and presentation skills
o Strong
computer
skills (i.e. PowerPoint, Database programs)
o Collaboration and delegation skills
o Ability to understand strategic price points/technical bids
o Ability to work in a team atmosphere
o Ability to set goals and motivate self and others to achieve those goals
o Ability to identify opportunities and deploy the assets in the form of specialists, applications, and/or SARA personnel to realize this potential
o Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
