The BDM is responsible for the development and growth of a client base selling Mi Rancho Products through a strategic outside sales program. This includes developing relationships with key managers and senior level executives, negotiating business terms, and securing partnerships that are mutually beneficial. This position is responsible for targeting and cultivating prospective clients, presenting products to new clients and effectively penetrating and developing existing clients ranging from small and mid-size companies in the Western Territory. The ideal candidate will be based in the San Leandro/Bay Area.

Minimum Required
Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
At least 10 years of sales management experience.
At least 5 years minimum of experience in Foodservice with progressive roles in account management and sales. Advanced understanding of foodservice industry financial, business, marketing and sales requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with all management levels.
Exceptional presentation skills.
Experience in solution selling and strong negotiation skills.
Spanish speaking/ writing a plus.
Must have excellent analytical skills and knowledge of budget process
Must have excellent multi-tasking skills and organizational skills.
Strong computer skills with experience in developing Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
Must possess the ability to keep accurate daily, weekly, reports, etc.
Must be able to manage company confidential information.
Must be able to comply with company attendance and punctuality policy.
Willing and able to travel.
Baking and Culinary experience a plus.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing strategic plan to include volume, revenue, and profit targets by customer, channel/segment, and area.
Responsible for developing and implementing strategies and tactics to support the plan.
In conjunction with the VP of Sales and Marketing, manage customer and segment P&L's to include planning, trade spend, deduction management, and forecasting processes.
Develop and manage sales forecasts ensuring accuracy and data integrity
Responsible for managing the relationship between Mi Rancho and Foodservice customers, distributors, and brokers.
Direct brokers on the execution of key strategies and platforms
Maintain monthly activity reports and updates for management review
Work closely with Management, Marketing, Operations and R&D to align sales initiatives with Mi Rancho strategy
Responsible for addressing shortfalls and concerns both internally and externally
Responsible for identifying and securing new business with existing and potential customers, segment and related industries.
Responsible for managing contracts and programs
Assist R&D and Marketing in the research, development and commercialization of new products.
Represent Mi Rancho at industry trade shows, customer advisory groups, meetings and customer appreciation events.
Working Conditions
Home Office.
This will require travel to the office and on-going market visits with and without the customer
Combination of sitting, walking, and standing, up to continual walking and standing on hard surface, climbing and descending steps.
Will be exposed to cool and warm temperatures, and loud noise.
Climb up and down stairs, stoop, pull, reach, push, and bend body.
Compensation: Competitive salary plus incentive bonus plan, profit share plan, paid vacation, paid sick time, holidays, medical/dental benefits and travel allowance.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
