Processes Engineering Change Orders/Releases - logs approved document package, logs revision into AS400/BPCS ERP system, scans, issues, and files (Engineering Change (ECO) form is used for drawings and technical documents, done by Technical Writer)
Creates itemized print and places dimensions onto Inspection Report Form for Quality Control Department
Provides document control for engineering drawings
Provides drawing numbers, and maintains the log
Maintains Engineering Change (ECO) number log
Interfaces with offsite Engineers/Designers - prints drawings, and obtains approval signatures
Assists in document control of drawings for projects in development
Sets up items in BPCS item master - item number, rev level if applicable, vendor number, item class, item type, cost)
Enters Bills of Material into BPCS (structures Bill of Materials (BOM) from assembly level up to finished good level, inputs cost provided, asks BPCS to calculate BOM total)
Issues engineering project account numbers, maintains, and issues listing
Enters R & D hours monthly into MS Access, provides allocation report to accounting, then enters data into online costing database
Issues Quality System International Standards Organization (ISO) procedure and form numbers, and maintains the files
Edits Quality System (ISO) procedures when requested
Processes QS (ISO) Procedures, new or revised - obtains approval signatures, logs, copies, issues to predetermined distribution list, and follows up for return of acknowledgements
Issues Corrective Action Report (CAR) control numbers and maintains log
Keeps and maintains SGS Certificates, maintains log (this is generally required from the Auditor)
Maintains documents that go into Product Technical Files for CE, logs any revisions Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
