HR Coordinator

The HR Coordinator is responsible for coordinating,organizing and directing the HR activities for the HR Team. This requires the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality andthe ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and accountability.
Location:
The employee has the ability to select their preferred office location. The options include San Leandro, Sacramento and Vernon ( LA).
This role reports to a Sr. HR Manager.
Position
Responsibilities:
Ensure HR files and forms are in compliance with internaland external government regulations. Maintain and input information relevant toI9's, job and personnel files, records retention and community/EEO reports.
Headcount reporting and assist with weekly manning ensuringemployees are in the correct departments in SAP.
Ensure paychecks are received, sorted and distributed toeach functional area weekly.
Participate in key HR projects and events in terms ofcreating and preparing communication materials, presentations, and othercoordinating activities.
Manage general HR business office activities, includinganswering phones, correspondence, communications, reports, dataretrieval/archiving, presentations, purchasing, employee interactions, andvarious other duties related to employee relations such as personal day, vacationday and FMLA tracking.
Ensure HR policies and practices are communicated andadhered to within the business unit in a timely manner.
Respond to inquiries from employees, supervisors and otherexternal customers regarding Collective Bargaining Agreements, HR policies andpractices.
Assist with employee relations and investigative factfinding with HR Business Partner.
Partner with Master Data and the Resourcing team to ensurepositions are set up correctly and posted.
Facilitate and coordinate new hire orientations and benefitscommunications.
Create various reports using HRIS system and provide to thebusiness as requested.
Bachelors degree with a minimum of 3 years of prior HR experience
3 years MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
